BEA Sponsors McKelvie Move-A-Thon

The Bedford Education Association is proud to announce its sponsorship of McKelvie Intermediate School’s Move-A-Thon fundraiser. 

This important school event primarily supports technology upgrades in McKelvie’s classrooms. Additional funds raised at the Move-A-Thon will go towards the purchase of teacher supplies and towards supporting Bedford’s Parent-Teacher Group (PTG). BEA Sponsors Lurgio WW5K

The Bedford Education Association is proud to announce its sponsorship of Lurgio Middle School’s Witch Way to the 5K fundraiser. 

This important school event supports technology upgrades in Lurgio’s classrooms. The road race will be held at the Lurgio Middle School on Saturday, October 27th. The BEA would like to encourage all community members to come out and race towards advanced  technology in all Lurgio classrooms. BEA Scholarship Information - Spread the Word!

The BEA is proud to offer two scholarships, each for $1000.

Students must meet the following requirements to qualify:

  • Be a BHS senior graduating in 2012.
  • Plan on entering the education field after college.
  • Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher, community service supervisor, employer, or coach.
